Lights Out: Knowing the Way When You Can’t See DVD
$66.15
When entering a building during an emergency response, firefighters have to make quick and precise decisions in order to mitigate the situation and stay safe.
In this classroom presentation, Nick Papa discusses how to properly size-up a building to understand what you may experience once on the inside. Papa walks through sizeup, various building features, identifying rooms, styles of private dwellings, and what to do when you are lost and disoriented.
Nick Papa is a lieutenant with the City of New Britain (CT) Fire Department, where he has served for over 11 years. Prior to joining the NBFD, he volunteered in a neighbouring suburb – becoming a second-generation firefighter. Nick is an FDIC classroom instructor and a contributor to Fire Engineering.
