- Firefighters will help if there is a fire or medical emergency and when you dial 9-1-1 the fire department will answer the phone.
- Tell them about your emergency, your name, your address, and the telephone number from where you’re calling.
- Stay on the phone with 9-1-1 until you’re told to hang up.
