DVD 2  in the “Wildland Urban Interface Firefighting for the Structural Firefighter Series”

This title presents how to identify fuels and fuel characteristics, methods of heat transfer, and the effects of weather and topography on wildland fires. Also included is how to recognize and predict extreme fire behavior in the wildland fire environment.
Training Objectives
1. To introduce the structural firefighter to wildland and wildland-urban interface firefighting
2. To describe jurisdictional authority and responsibilities at wildland-urban interface fires
3. To compare the wildland fire environment triangle to the fire triangle
4. To define terminology used to describe the parts of a surface fire
